Types of Diagnostic Evaluations and Training Services offered …
· Provide an on-site evaluation and report back with recommendations on the status of your existing Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS) and/or provide personnel with CASS training; as defined by 14 CFR 121.373 or 14 CFR 135.431, the FAA’s Advisory Circular (AC) 120-79A, and accomplished by one of only three Subject Matter Experts (SME) designated by the FAA to teach CASS to its own Aviation Safety Inspectors (ASI).
· Provide on-site assistance with the functionality and effectiveness of your operational data analysis; perhaps as performed by a group traditionally called “Reliability.” Evaluating what data is collected, why it is collected, how it is being analyzed, and how the information generated is being used to improve the effectiveness of your overall aircraft maintenance program; as defined by the FAA’s AC 120-16E.
· Provide assistance, if needed, in transitioning your existing “alert-based” Reliability Analysis processes to more effective “event-based” processes.
· Provide assistance and training in effectively coordinating the functions of an existing Reliability group so as to compliment your CASS.
· Provide assistance and training, fleet by fleet, in optimizing your Maintenance Schedule and the other nine elements that make up your Maintenance Program, as defined by the FAA.
· Provide training in the use of the Air Transport Association (ATA) of America’s MSG-3 decision logic; the logic used to develop the initial maintenance schedules displayed in each fleet’s Maintenance Review Board (MRB) Report, and is most likely the basis of your maintenance schedule … an understanding of which can greatly assist you in making appropriate adjustments to your maintenance schedules, and getting those adjustments approved by your Regulatory Authority.
· Provide assistance in transitioning an MSG-2 derived maintenance schedule to a more cost effective MSG-3 derived maintenance schedule.
